The Engineering Equipment and Materials Users’ Association is usually known by its initials, EEMUA.
EEMUA, is an international non-profit membership organization representing member companies across a wide spectrum of industries: chemicals, food and pharmaceuticals manufacturing, both upstream and downstream oil & gas exploration and production, power generation and distribution, steelmaking, bulk storage & distribution, utilities, and more.
EEMUA has developed more than 200 engineering guides, handbooks and other publications.
International standards bodies, such as the ISO and IEC, have frequently used EEMUA’s publications as the basis of formal standards, or adopted them in their entirety as new standards.
