The Greek Ship (Persian: کشتی یونانی, Kešti-ye Yunāni) is the nickname of a cargo steamship that has been beached on the southwest coast of Kish Island, Iran, since 1966. She was built in 1943 by the British shipyard of William Hamilton and Company in Port Glasgow, Scotland.

On July 25, 1966, Greek Ship ran aground on the south-western coast of Kish in the Persian Gulf and she has remained beached ever since.
I saw the Greek ship for the first time during my trip to Kish Island two years ago. There, from the point of view of corrosion science and materials engineering, I was trying to calculate to myself that this ship would last a few more years with these conditions and without protective measures.
My analysis did not predict much time.
