I remember that at the beginning of my professional career, one of the first tasks I was assigned was to design the welding sequence for an atmospheric tank.
Fortunately, I had a book that offered some useful guidance on the subject — Welding Engineering and Technology by R.S. Parmar. In one of its chapters, the author discusses this topic in detail.
Since then, I have referred to this book many times and benefited greatly from its valuable information. It covers almost all the major aspects of welding, is richly illustrated, and includes numerous solved examples and case studies.
In my opinion, it is one of the best choices for any engineer who wants to gain a deep understanding of welding.
Unfortunately, despite searching extensively online, I could not find any photo of R.S. Parmar.
