📶 A “SYMBOL” is a sign that represents an idea, object, concept, condition, and more. If we observe our surroundings carefully, we will realize that symbols are constant companions in our lives—and living without them would be very difficult.
🤚 The use of symbols is not a recent development; early humans also used them as a means of communication.
🚮 Symbols have become widely adopted because they simplify the transfer of concepts. They are not tied to a specific language or location, and many have been standardized. For example, ISO 7001 defines commonly used public information symbols we encounter daily.
